Hi everyone
I’ve got Nets and I’m struggling to get holiday insurance at a reasonable price. Anyone got any suggestions please.
stay strong guys. Spotter.
Hello Spotter
A decent holiday is what we all need A little bit of advice if I may:
* We have a special forum on the Community for this subject and here's the link to it-
Travel insurance forum for cancer patients
Just click on the link I have provided, when the page opens up click on "join" on the black banner at the bottom of the page and away you go.
* I have Prostate Cancer and my wife has a few issues (Medical I should add!) - We have a worldwide annual police from Insuranewith and it comes out at around £ 780 per annum - I have completed Radiotherapy and am just on Hormone Therapy..
* I found it better to ring each company for a quote. As you fill in the online form it uses algorhythms to work out you quote but when you get to the end they nearly all say "please call us". Also when you speak to a human you get a decent answer and possibly the best price.
Good luck and enjoy the holiday.
Best wishes - Brian..

Hi
I have had NETs for nearly 10 years and at stage 4 the cost of insurance makes it impossible. Even the specialists wont offer an annual policy and single trip insurance was well into 4 figures last time i was bothered to get a quote.
This is NOT a recommendation but this is what I do. I have a CT scan every 12 months ish and following my consultation with my Oncologist he can advise my current position. If he see no immediate issues I book and go somewhere quickly at short notice and don't take out health insurance.
Again I say, I am not recommending this course of action to others, but Japan was lovely :-)
Best Wishes.
PS is was actually my Oncologist who suggested this as a possible course of action....
