Hey, I’m a newbie here.

so happy that I found this group, it’s taken a long time 2yrs to be told that I’m entitled to a lot of benefits, now I can reduce my working hours and financially not have to struggle  to much.

was diagnosed three years ago, in the head of pancreas and in my liver. I’m taken Lanreopide 120 mg and on my 6 cycle of everolimus 10mg. Had the night sweats but having pain in my back, knees and pain in my wrist.  the tumour hasn’t got any bigger thank god.

having a PET scan in April, little worried. But I’m living to the best I can at present.

can I asked if anyone have had the pancreas surgery to remove  the tumour, I was to frightened to have the op, now they have closed the options to op on me.

just need to know how was it.

thank you and for everyone to continue to be safe in these uncertain time. Pray tone3BookHeartMask

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community

I can't answer your question but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. If you haven't tried this already, if you type something like 'pancreas surgery' into the search bar you'll be able to read any previous posts on this topic.

While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
