Hi, does anyone know what the turnaround time for the urine 5H1AA test is? I did mine 2 weeks ago and still waiting for results. I’m hoping no news is good news but still having daily flushing, and my mum has had pancreatic NET in the past so I’m obviously worrying. Thanking anyone in advance for any advice.

I know how anxious waiting for results of tests can be and I'm hoping that since posting this you've had the results. If not you could give your consultant's secretary a call to ask how long they're currently taking in your area of the country. Although she won't be able to give you the results if they're back, she should be able to chase them for you or give you an idea of when to expect them.
I typed '5H1AA' into the search bar in this group to see if I could put you in touch with anyone who has had this test recently but drew a blank I'm afraid.
If you can't get in touch with your consultant's secretary then you could post your question in the ask a nurse section of the community and one of the specialist nurses will aim to respond within 2 working days. They won't be able to give you an absolute timescale but would be able to give you a rough idea based on their experience.
I hope you don't have too much longer to wait and do come back and let the group know how you got on.
