Ive been having back pain very bad back pain, nose bleeds, fatigue and right out of the blue my gp is screening me for myeloma. I had never heard of it before so its taken a few days to get my head around the possibility that I may have this form of cancer. Having survived throat cancer i find myself back at sleepless nights unable to talk to any of my family about it. I cant bear to put my very elderly parents through it all again and my grown up children. Ive never felt so low. Anyone else up all night and on here chatting?
Hi Dee
I am so sad reading your message I am still in the sleepless night stage I was diagnosed on 29th December 2021 at the age of 34
Surviving throat cancer just shows how strong you are.
Telling your family is something you should do when it's right for you, my parents went into meltdown it doesn't help I'm an only child maybe see if you can speak to a friend or one of your children and then tell your parents if you have a confirmed diagnosis
Im here to listen any time xx
