Good afternoon
after some advice , have had aches and pains over the last few years that never go. Every time I go to docs I feel I get fobbed off.I’m a48 year old male who last year was diagnosed with stage 2A melonoma.Since January have had a persistent cough and bringing up sticky mucus that I can’t seem to shake off, along with odd bruising where I don’t remember banging that area ,odd rashes that come and go and tremendous fatigue. For few years they say it could be fibromyalgia. Now not so sure as have had rib cage spine tender to touch with constant dull ache in back, dull ache in hips.
Had a full blood test everything was normal apart fro red blood cell count of 4.46 , also white blood cell count was 5.0
and had elevated IGA level of 5.56 g/l .doctor said not to worry.Just trying to find out what’s wrong . Has anyone in this forum had any of these symptoms.
regards
andrew
Hi Andrew,
Welcome to the forum, although I am really sorry to read about how you are doing at the moment. I’m afraid I can’t offer any medical advice re: your situation at the moment, I would definitely let your doctor take the lead in terms of what the numbers and symptoms might mean. Here’s hoping that you get some good news soon and a good way forward towards better health.
I have replied so that your post goes back towards the top to see if anyone else might spot your post and be able to give you any more specific thoughts.
All the best
Greg
