… I am told this is a result of the medication and is called neuropathy. I am sitting here on this hot July day with a fan on and a heated blanket but my feet feel like lumps of ice.
Anyone else having similar symptoms?
Hi Meerkat57
Sorry to hear you are suffering with freezing cold feet, especially when the weather is so good.
I have this problem, along with numbness with my hands and feet and it's a side effect of the Bortezomib and Thalidomide which I'm on as part of my treatment. I discussed this with my Consultant and she reduced the dosages on both medications which has helped but not cured. I've been given co-codomel to help with any pain too.
Although not ideal. I've had to resort to wearing socks to get some sort of comfort, especially through the night.
Hope you find a solution and start to feel better soon.
Paulo
