Bony Pain

I don’t think it’s a silly question - I have pain in my lower spine-  coccyx area and pain radiates to back of left leg, front of leg into groin then affects the whole leg when I walk. Not sure whether the Myeloma is active or is hip replacement required? I was diagnosed over 4yrs ago & have not had to have chemo treatment so far!

Hi Nigel,I had a SCT in aug 22. There have been a few ups and downs along the way.

I too have severe shoulder and neck pain which comes and goes and can be extreme at times. After an MRI they determined it was definitely muscular. I suppose the difference is when it's bad I can get sever spasms where as the bone pain was more of an aching.

I'm currently thinking of paying private as the wait for physio on the NHS is horrendous.

That's the trouble isn't it though  - what is causing the pain as it can be 'referred pain' as I think the medics call it. 

Thanks John for your reply. My shoulder pain is very bad at times too, but it can come and go,

It's partly too that I am thinking, should I or shouldn't I mention it to the consultant at my next follow up appointment next month. I don't want to be seen as an overanxious patient.

I would definitely mention it as any kind of pain isn't good for our stress levels.

I've booked a private physio for tomorrow as I can't keep waiting.
