Hi,
My husband has been doing well post STC. But this morning he had a meeting with his consultant because they have seen spikes in his paraproteins. The specialist nurse said this could indicate the STC has failed. He has an urgent bone marrow biopsy next week. This is devastating news as he was doing well with his recovery and we began to see a future again. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this rise in paraproteins and what it meant for them. He hasn't had the Lamda and light chain results yet. Even if the STC has not completed failed with are faced with the fact that he has signs of myeloma already but we don't know yet what the treatment would be.
Thanks,
