Hi, newbie here looking for advice to support my 69year old mum awaiting stem cell transplant. I want to support her through this. Anyone here been through this process who can help me understand what she might go through and what are the go to products which might be worth taking into hospital with her to maybe ease the symptoms. Much appreciated
Hi Reedy,
Welcome to the forum. There is a dedicated section of this forum for people about to go through a stem cell transplant which you might find helpful. Patients and family members have also created a checklist of things that might be helpful for this process - I have included the links below. I hope they are helpful.

Wishing you and your Mum all the very best

Hi. My 70 year old mum had stem cell treatment in June. Obviously everybody is individual in how they react. For her the main problem was nausea and being unable to keep food down for the first three weeks. Sh was extremely tired for about six weeks. It took about three months for her full strength to return.
I really wish you and your family all the best as you go through this difficult time. Lots of love
