The last time I posted something I was in a bad place only just been diagnosed along side recovering from a broken femur last year was awful this year was suppose to be a lot better then covid 19 hit , forward to now 3 months post SCT and 10 months past my 2nd leg operation , I am in remission and can walk with a stick .
Anyway the one thing that is upsetting is I'm 34 and menopause has hit and I have come to terms with this type of cancer and Im happy i am in remission and I found out I'm a stronger person than i thought i was ,
I trying to come to terms with never being able to have my own children , I just feel the choice was taken away from me and these hot flushes are a constant reminder and i dont really have many friends to discuss it with , My mum just says that she's happy that I'm still here which I am too because its been a horrible long road.
Anyway I was just wondering how anyway else dealt with the Menopause?
Hi
I'm not a member of this group but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. By replying to you it will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussions list where it'll be more easily spotted.
I'm a lot older than you and have gone through the menopause but consider myself very lucky as I have had no problems whatsoever. Therefore, I'm not going to be any help in suggesting ways of coping with hot flushes.
While you're waiting to see if you get any replies, if you type 'menopause' into the search facility in the group you will find a few posts which mention this. You could then have a read through them and reply to any of the posters who you think might be able to help further.
When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You could copy and paste most of what you've said here into your profile or take a look at mine by clicking on my username to see the sort of thing you could add.
