As some of you are aware of my previous post,my husband was diagnosed with Mesothelioma (asbestos related)in May,after 4 treatments of immunotherapy, which we had hoped would make him more comfortable and ease the pain giving him a better quality of life for the next few years.
Unfortunately this wasn't the case, the treatment didn't work .He passed away at 9-55 am yesterday morning. We were with him when he passed.
I would like to add I am truly grateful to all the staff at JPH and BECCLES HOSPICE in supporting Geoff and our family.Making him more comfortable and helping to ease his pain.
Thank you
Yes ,I believe that's a way forward ,he was in so much pain ,it was unbearable to see him like that, hence their decision to increase sedation,to make him more comfortable, less pain .No more suffering,he is at peace.
But it's like a bad dream, seems so unreal .
I really do appreciate these words of comfort xx
