My dad has just been diagnosed with asbestos mesothelioma two weeks ago...we are still attending oncologist about treatment plan and have appointment on Tuesday to go to Glasgow about possible trial of chemo / surgery.
But have noticed last few days dad is starting to get cold. Do I have to notify anyone of symptoms. He does have district nurses 3 times weekly to drain fluid off lungs. Just not sure who I contact over weekends. Any advice?
So sorry to hear about your dads diagnosis. I would expect that he has been losing weight due to the Mesothelioma as many of us have prior to treatment. Just wondering if this could be the cause of feeling cold, a lack of insulation?
Good luck with getting treatment sorted out, I hear Glasgow is a very good place for getting treatment.
