I joined this group when my husband was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, back in February 2018, he was a very fit and active person with never a days illness until this, it was only early stage 1, he had an EDP operation last May and it looked like it was a success, unfortunately, the cancer returned and Chemotherapy didn't work, and he passed away on the 15th May 2019.
We wanted to offer positive help to others, not to give up and trying to get on trials wherever possible and not to let anyone tell you there is nothing they can do for you. We were due to meet Professor Fennell the day before he died with hopefully getting on to the MIST trial, and hubby was trying his hardest to be fit enough for that, but in the end it beat us both, and he died with his family with him at home.
I wish each and every one of you suffering with this disease the very best of luck, and hope you never give in.
Kind Regards to you all
