Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any advice concerning chemotherapy. My dad has just completed his first round and as predicted feels like he has been hit by a bus.
Do symptoms ever lessen as time goes on? Can I tell him it might get easier or is this the new normal. I know it can affect people differently but I am hoping it's just the initial shock to his body and we might be lucky in that he feels like it is more manageable as treatment continues.
Does anyone know of any hollistic remedies that could help? Is cbd used for chemo symptoms or just the cancer symptoms.
He is already dreading round 2 and he is worried about it making him completely dependent and disabled before the cancer does.
Thanks for any words of wisdom.
I had awful mouth ulcers and constipation during Chemo, would using a mouth wash a few times a day and taking a couple of laxatives each day prevent these? Worth a try, My Chemo got easier from stage three.
good luck
