Hi, I am after abit of advice if possible. I have had really heavy periods for roughly two years maybe a little longer. My cycle shortened to every three weeks, but more recently I’m having my period every two weeks. I am 46yts old and thought this was a normal part of premipause. I spend the best part of every month having to use sanitary products. After my period I then have about four/five days where I suffer with watery discharge. I went to my doctor a few weeks ago to see if I could start HRT, after telling the doctor about my symptoms she said I couldn’t until they investigate my symptoms first. I was sent for an US which showed several fibriods the biggest been 5cm by 6cm, an enlarged uterus, and thickening lining 13mm. Also trace fluid in cervical canal. I have now been referred to gynae on the two week path way. I have had CINN3 in the past back in 2020 and had treatment for this and clear smears since. I am a little worried and just wondered if anyone has had similar symptoms. My periods are ridiculous and are affecting my life on bad days I soak through a super plus tampon every 10-20 minutes and suffer with big clots that kinda push the tampon out. At this point I would opt for an hysterectomy if it was offered to me. Thanks for reading
