Hi, I was diagnosed with a stage 3 melanoma with microsatalites in november. I had the growth removed, with margin from left temple in October. I have since had my PET-CT, which has shown up some activity in my bowel, assumption is a polyp from my results consultation. Waiting in a colonoscopy to have that removed.
I have also an appointment on 21st Jan with a plastic surgeon to discuss additional margin removal from my temple, this was discussed during the MDT meeting of my scan results. When I went to see the consultant in December it was clear the melanoma had spread beyond the removed area on was growing around my scar.
Worried it has spread already in the area of the original growth despite the original operation removed it with margin.
At the minute I am relatively positive and just need these two procedures done before I can start my aduvant treatment.

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and was diagnosed with Stage 2 melanoma in 2016.
There are lots of people with Stage 3 melanoma in the group and I'm sure one or two of them will be along soon to share their experiences with you.
