Just had my the biopsy result of a lump on my leg. Lump has since been excised but am devastated to hear that it is melanoma. To have CT scan then plan of treatment. Dr said there was no swelling in the lymph nodes in my knee, groin, armpits and neck.
Just feel totally shocked. Consultant initially told me it was a Keratoacanthoma.
any advice would be appreciated.
Hi Scaredboy I also had a lump removed from my leg in November, December found out metastatic melanoma, Cat scan and pet scan showed no other signs in major organs or lymph nodes so primary not found further surgery in January to take margins, which came back clear. Please don’t be scared I know I was terrified, so I am now classed as cancer clear, I still have check ups every 3 months and scan every 6 months. Once you know more, it’s much easier to deal with. Please let us know how you get on. Positive thinking.
