Hello. I’m new to this group. Recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastic melanoma, it was stage 2 until it spread to my liver and spine. I’m on targeted therapy (Encorafenib and binimetinib) and my oncologist has recommended getting the Covid booster. I’m not so sure about getting it, what’s everyone’s thoughts?
Hi Katie945.
I'm also Stage 4 and have received all of the Covid jabs available (I think 7 so far....). From a personal point of view, if I can avoid the worst effects of Covid by having the jab, that's one less thing to worry about.
It's obviously your decision, however I'm not aware of any particular down-sides to having the jab?
All the best in your future treatment.
