Hi
just found a small pea size lump, above my right groin, where I had several lump nodes removed in April 20. Finished my immunotherapy treatment treatment end of April 21. Just had my 3 month scan on the 29th of Aug and a telephone consultation on Wednesday hope it’s nothing to worry about but things like this makes you worry. Will call the oncologist tomorrow. Has anyone had the same issue?
Cancer is back, will have a wide local excision to remove the lump this Thursday but there’s also shadow on my lower spine, I’ll be having a pet scan 25th September to determine what it is so not sure if it’s spread to my lower spine or it could be old age, where your spine tend to deteriorate so fingers crossed it’s old age once everything is confirmed, I will undertake immunotherapy treatment with pembrolizumab and another drug but can remember what it was called but it will have more side effects to look out for. Will let you know how I get on.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
