Hello everyone. I’ve just been to my post op appointment with my nurse after a WLE on my left shoulder for MM pt1a in February. She did a full check of my lymph nodes and noticed in my armpit a tightness and when she pressed it hurt. On my way home the pain radiated down to my breast and also across my collar bone. She said she wants a scan sorting for this just to check everything is ok but said if it was a swollen lymph node from cancer spreading it shouldn’t hurt.
Just wondering if anyone on here has had a swollen lymph node that hurt after diagnosis of MM and turned out to be the Melanoma spreading?

I'm sorry to read about your painful swollen lymph node and I know how ours brains automatically leap to the worse scenarios.
I don't have any experience with this myself but hopefully the scan won't show anything of concern. Do you have a date yet for your scan?

No not heard anything yet for my scan date. Hopefully it won’t be too long. Hope you’re doing well aswell.
