first time posting here because I’m at the end of my tether with waiting and waiting.
I was referred on the 21st April 2026 by my GP on a 2WW urgent referral. Finally saw a dermatologist in Salford on the 22nd May, who decided to excise 4 miles from my back on the 6th July. 31 stitches later, recovered from that, and still waiting for my biopsy results. Radio silence from every chase up I have tried to give.
I have read that when you’re on the 2WW referral, then there’s national target to get your diagnosis on the ‘faster referral scheme’, however I have now been waiting for 135 days with no answers. I’m only 30 with 3 young children and I’m just desperate to get a yes or no so I can move forward and get on with my life.
