I've not had pembro myself, but it's great to hear that you didn't get any side effects.

I know there are lots of people in the group that are having it or who have had it. If you click here you can have a look through previous posts which mention it. You'll see that some are over 4 years old, so I don't think it's only just been licensed.

Hi, my partner had 2 neoadjuvant Ipi/ nivo treatments followed by lymph node dissection recently. I know many people have a good response ( which it sounds like you are having if there is shrinkage). My partner showed a slight increase in node size immediately prior to surgery, but nothing significant. Unfortunately, we were informed that the lymph nodes ( via pathology after surgical removal) had not responded to the immunotherapy. However, the affected nodes were all removed and they are now having a year of Pembro as a precaution with regular scans etc.

Hi, thankyou for your reply. Sorry to hear that your partner didn't respond to the neo adjuvant treatment, but hope all is going well with the adjuvant treatment. I had my groin dissection a few weeks ago, and luckily responded really well to the neo adjuvant treatment. Wishing you both all the very best.
