Hello,
I had a wide excision and centinal lymph node biopsy in my groin last Friday, 1 week ago today. I’m experiencing a burning sensation at the lymph node biopsy site and have today noticed some of numbness in my thigh when I tough it. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so how long it lasted? I can’t see any swelling but I still have the dressings on. Thanks a lot.
Hi HP12100efa29 and a very warm welcome to the group which I hope you'll find is an informative and supportive place to be.
Although I didn't have a burning sensation at the site of my sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB), it would probably be a good idea to contact your SCNS (skin cancer nurse specialist) today in case it's a sign of infection.
Let us know how you get on.
