I didn't have scans as part of my follow-up after melanoma was diagnosed so don't have any relevant experience to share. However, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

I’ve been having 3 monthly scans for the last 12 months and all have been clear so far. But the oncologist did say the scans only pick up potential tumours that are over 1mm in diameter. So there’s a possibility that something could be missed (other than in error).

Hi, I had clear scans for about 10 months after my treatment immunotherapy then on my last scan a small nodule has appeared on my lung. Have had to wait 4 months for another scan to see if it has grown or spread anywhere else. My melanoma was on my leg then spread to my lymph nodes in groin originally. Absolutely dreading getting my results.
