Hi Everyone,
Last year I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma PT1a, and had both an excision then a WLE after the initial diagnosis. Last July I was finally discharged from dermatology after completing the 1 year follow up.
However recently I checked the scar area where I had the melanoma removed and felt a bump on the scar. My wife checked it out and saw that it was a red spot.
My question is this something of concern that warrants a visit to my GP to get it checked out?
Hi WALKER777
It's always best to get anything new checked out when you've had a melanoma diagnosis previously. Hopefully, it'll turn out to be nothing but you can never be too careful.
