Opdualag side effects and ports

Hi I have recently been diagnosed with stage 4 mmm I had my first of 24 monthly Opdualag infusions on Friday. I was recommended to get a port fitted  as it took 5 attempts at cannulation. Has anyone else had experience of this. I can’t seem to find many people with experience of Opdualag and its side effects. I am feeling generally rubbish with headaches and aching joints. I would love to hear others experience. Thanks

  • Hi i am also stage 4 , I was on pembrolizumab for 3 rounds but that failed to work  and made me feel very fatigued gave me a very dry mouth and hypothyroidism ,  I started Opdualag on Thursday , I did have a bit of a reaction when getting infusion but they delt with that very quickly and have now to get it at a slower rate  apart from that I've felt fine so far apart from my eyes playing up for about an hour then back to normal , I'm similar with canulas its always 3 or 4 attempt 

Help us do whatever it takes, because we’ve never been needed more.
