I’m just wondering what waiting times people have had between being diagnosed with stage three melanoma and starting treatment. I had MRI and CT scans three weeks ago and as yet, have not received a follow up appointment with oncology to either discuss the findings of the scans or what course of treatment I’ll be on. Is this normal?
I’m in the same boat, originally stage 2c and now upgraded to Stage 3D after spread to axilla nodes and full excision in February. I finally have had the results of the post op scan and see the Oncology consultant next Monday re starting immunotherapy. Waiting has been about 4 months from positive lymph nodes being found to seeing Oncology. Time does drag!
