Taking Tafinlar & Mekinist

Hi all, I am new to this group, having just had a stage 1a melanoma removed along with a lymph node removed under my left armpit, all has been conducted under surgery and the next step is discussing preventative treatment options. However, the options of taking Tafinlar/Mekinist with the known side effects which look terrifying and can cause further issues/cancers, I know everyone's circumstances are different, but has anyone had serious side effects from taking these treatments ?

I would be grateful for any feedback, as I am currently considering my options before I start any treatment - many thanks.

Hi. I an stage 3c. I am just starting cycle 13, I will have to take dab/tram for as long as it works or future side effects become too bad. I have had a complete response so far. If you select my Nickname you can view my journey so far. At present I am experiencing very minor side effects. Coming up for my next 3 monthly CT scan in a week's time. I have been lucky and not experienced any major side effects.
