Hi all
I had a WLE surgery on my 1a melanoma last Thursday (24/10). Even after a week I’m still getting some bleeding. I don’t have any dressing as it’s on my vulva just two layers of stitches and glue. I’m just wondering whether to call the hospital or stick with it? It seems like one step forward and two back as was starting to stop and then started again today bright red. I did go for a very short walk this morning to try and get out but back home and doing very little.
Hi Sazpickle
I would advise giving them a call to get some reassurance.
Alternatively perhaps give the Support Line a call in the am and speak to one of the nurses about what is expected with healing.
Hope it settles soon.
Jane
