I had WLE and SLNB in December 2023, all clear margins and LN also clear, however I have recently noticed a new mole appear on my scar where the melanoma was removed. My scar is large but the mole is very close to where the original biopsy was taken. I'm 33 so understand new moles are still appearing but is it odd that it has appeared on my scar so close to the original melanoma?xx
That's great to hear that your recent WLE and SLNB were all clear.
To be on the safe side, personally I'd give my SCNS a call and explain about this new mole appearing close to the site of the original one.
