Following a melanoma diagnosis my partner is having a PET scan and an MRI scan
what is the difference?

Hi pet scan shows small cells i had one last week as found some in Lymph nodes from slnb biopsy so need to check rest of body. Is it a mri head

yes the MRI could be his head
he hasn’t had the SLNB yet … that’s in 3 weeks
The MRI is Monday
