Hi
I have noticed in here that usual procedure seems to be a node biopsy and WLE to see if anything is in the nodes. If so then this is followed up by a body and brain scan
if they go straight in with a full body and brain scan first is this more serious
thanks
I had biopsy then are got diagnosed then sent me for scans my scans were clear i just think they act quickly to make sure it has not spread. But unfortunately my lymph nodes had microscopic melanoma in them not sure how many it was in thsts from the slnb biopsy mine was in groin. I had a pet ct scan yesterday waiting on results its so worrying. Then I got to see oncologist for treatment.
