Hello all,
I had the all clear from a stage 2 melanoma on my arm back in December following a WLE and SLNB.
Fast forward to now….waiting for an appointment to see the surgeon about another mole that has just started to raise, and it really is just the beginning, no one else would notice but me.
I went to my GP about begetting hrt a few weeks ago and she wanted a full blood test, just in case. It’s come back with raised enzymes in my liver showing either a bone or liver issue. She mentioned the possibility of a fatty liver but did repeat herself about liver and bone issues before rapidly returning to hrt. She seemed very keen on getting me scanned and tested asap….. could this be what I dread??? I’ll take a fatty liver, my own fault for being fat, but my mind has raced to a metastasis.
Should I mention this to my SCN or wait for more information…any ideas????
Hi Spanielmumma and I'm sorry to hear you have another mole and raised liver enzymes now to worry you. What an excellent GP you have and quite correctly they are acting quickly on your info. Sounds like you are in safe hands hon. Yes I would let the SCN know and although you're probably now back under the dermatology team your oncology team need to be told too as they will also act very quickly and they are the specialists.
Mine have just done that in their reaction to a lymph node with activity in it on my first set of scans three months post treatment, still waiting on results! Take care and fingers crossed it's just a "fatty" liver xx
