Following WLE & PET, it’s occurred to me that as further treatment of my melanoma is going to be necessary, drug therapy could get complicated with my sero-positive rheumatoid arthritis. Has anyone out there got this compination, please?
Hi Saltmarsh. I don’t have any experience of your situation, maybe someone on the group has. However, I just wanted to let you know that your Team will take all of your medical details into consideration before they offer you treatment. If it’s complicated, they will find an answer.! Keep faith. Waiting is the worst bit and when you have a plan life will seen easier. All the best
Hilary
Hi again Saltmarsh, the Pembro I have has given me arthritis in both my hands and obviously immunotherapy has the potential to trigger immune related responses in our bodies so it's definitely worth asking on of your oncology team or even an oncological pharmacist. X
