Hi, my partner is due to start targeted treatment Dabrafenib. Just wondered if anyone on here is on/was on the same and if suffered any side effects,? X
Hello NannyStan I was on Dabrafenib back in 2015 for 9 months. I lost every freckle while on it and underarm and pubic hair other than those superficial things nothing else. The hair grew back a few weeks after I stopped and went onto Pembrolizumab.
We are all different there’s a list of all possible side effects that you will be given and a telephone number to report things to.
Was on them for 12 months throughout 2019. Had nothing too serious other than a bit of a random rash and occasional night sweats and did have a bit of a fever when I first started taking them but only for a day or two.
