Hi all, it's good to hear that so many people have few, if any, side effects from Pembro. Unfortunately my husband, on the other hand, is really struggling. He's on session 5 of a year's treatment and has constant diarrhea, approx 4 or 5 times a day and every time he tries to eat something it feels like it won't go down. As well as fatigue, he is really weak and of course losing weight. Just wondering if there's anyone out there with similar symptoms and how are they coping? It's be really helpful to know...
Hi Cable I’m sorry to hear after a fortnight your husband is still having problems.
I replied to your earlier post https://community.macmillan.org.uk/cancer_types/melanoma-forum/f/melanoma-forum/225279/diarrhea-from-pembro-keytruda
I was hoping that the Macmillan link or that contacting the hospital team would have helped. My alert card for Pembrolizumab says report diarrhoea straight away, the more promptly they know and can deal with it the more likely it can be managed without having to stop treatment.
Take care KT
