I have stage 3a melanoma I had a follow up scan last week consultant said there is inflammation showing on lung not likely to be melanoma is his gut feeling I am on prem 3rd treatment done last week have appt with oncologist next week I had covid 3 weeks ago so it could be that can't believe melanoma could spread to lung I feel so well no swollen nodes as consultant checked 2 days before scan
Covid definitely causes inflammation of the lungs.... member side my family have had issues with this - nothing serious or long lasting.
praying for good news
Thank you I only had mild symptoms but praying its that doesn't seem logical that last scan in April was clear and then melanoma can appear 4 months later
