I have been told that I have melonoma on the 10th if August and waiting for WLE and SLNB assessment appointment which should happen in the next 10 days according to what I was told at an email from Melanoma clinic.
I have decided to do my research for private options in case the wait is longer. Does anyone have any recommendations for docs or clinic they've been seen /treated in London please?
I have contacted two clinics that consultants from the NHS hospital I was referred to (GSTT skin tumour clinic) work on part time basis, and both advised me that earliest appointment would be in October and that probably I'll be seen at NHS faster. That's a relief but I'd like to be prepared if surgery waiting time turns out to be longer than expected.
