Hi everyone. I have just been alerted to this forum through my being a member of a Facebook MCL UK group. I am actually in hospital undergoing my Auto SCT on day 5!
Diagnosed in June 2020. Been through RChop and RDhap then Ibrutinib until August 2021. Then due to Ibrutinib I developed fluid on the lung and heart flutter.
Had fluid drained in August and flutter ablation in November.
Aged 67.
Hi Toffee man and welcome to this corner of the Community although always sorry to see folks joining us. I am Mike and I help out around our various Lymphoma groups. I don’t have Mantle Cell but was diagnosed in 1999 with a rare, incurable but treatable type of NHL Stage 4a and although my Lymphoma ‘type’ is different I know this journey rather well.......Including having two Allo (donor) Stem Cell Transplants...... (June 2014 then Oct 2015) so know this part well.
We do actually have a dedicated Stem cell transplant support group where you can talk with other folks from many blood cancer who are on or been on the SCT rollercoaster.
Drop in past and introduce yourself.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
