Breast cancer in nodes

Hi Everyone, I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer that’s spread to my lymph nodes in my armpit and breast. I’ve had the all clear from a bone scan but have a CT on Saturday. Has anyone else had a ripping pain like a hook in their arm above and below the inner elbow? This area hasn’t been scanned yet but I think the cancer is also in nodes there Xx

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I haven't had the sensation that you mention in your arm but hopefully you will get the chance to mention it when you have your scan today.

I can see that you've also posted this in the breast cancer group and had some good replies there.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • Hi! Thank you, I need all online tips I can get seeing as I couldn’t log in for two days ;0)

I will hopefully get all my information at the oncology meeting on Tuesday, I have a patchy knowledge of what I have but not the detail yet. I will definitely add it to my bio when I’m 100% sure I’ve got it right.

    Thanks again for replying Xx
