I'm new on here having just been diagnosed with recurrent endometrial cancer in the left para-aortic lymph node (5cm). Can't be biopsied due to site so they're proposing 5 weeks radical radiotherapy with two sessions chemo cisplatin.
Unfortunately for me, very unfortunately, I'm six weeks into a new job with a tied house and literally can't afford to take either the physical hit from the proposed treatment or the financial hit. At 66 my professional career will effectively be finished. I'm genuinely in turmoil as it seems I'm stuffed whatever I do.
Anyone else had similar experience who can share how the treatment proposed affected them?
Thank you
Kate
