Hi not one to usually post comments on any site, but have just been diagnosed with stage 3 bowel/anal cancer that has spread to lungs and liver. Am struggling to get my head round it all and sway from doom and gloom days where I don't want to see anybody, to lets find out all I need to know about the treatment offered. Have been given a treatment plan and when feeling a little bit more together will ask for some advice on how to manage side affects. Thanks for letting me waffle on.
Hi lin601 I am so sorry you find yourself here. I have secondary lung cancer, mine started in the womb 13 years ago, then metastasised to my lungs nearly 8 years ago. It is scary when you are told it has spread, but there are lots of treatments available now.
This group is quite quiet at the moment, so I am sorry you haven’t had a reply before now. Can I suggest you come and join the Lung cancer forum which is more active at the moment. It is a very supportive group and I know you will be made very welcome. You could copy and paste your original post here and pop it into the lung group xx
Thank you for your message Chelle, I will take your advice and join lung cancer group.
