Hello it's jmjl.I had top right lung cancer lobectomy operation 2 weeks ago . feeling quite good.bit tired and some tightness..had breast cancer 7 years ago.x
Hi jmjl. I had a Lobectomy around the middle of May this year and am now back at work (builder). It gets easier very quickly but you must be as active as comfortably possible. I found cycling was the best therapy for me and certainly helped with my breathing. Now on immunotherapy every 6 weeks for a year.
put your faith in exercise but beware of sneezing! Bloody hurts and catches you unaware
wishing you a speedy recovery
Nick
Hello
I had top right lung removed three years ago. As an older woman I went for short walks every day at least three times. As Ifelt better I went for longer walks. Listen to your body and if you feel tired, have a rest. Little and often was advised by my cancer nurse. It took me about three months to really feel better. I do have a permanent ache as some of the nerves were damaged but I just ignore it. As Nick says an improvement can be see and felt quite quickly.
Love xxx

I’m 73 and have a secondary lung cancer in my adrenal gland but nowhere else. I’m have 4 lots of chemo and after 2, the adrenal gland will be removed. You’re right. The waiting is the worst so I’m relieved to be sorting this quite quickly.
Good luck with your recovery Daisy xx
