Hi all, I am trying to get as much info as possible for my husband who has been given the all clear for husband lung cancer. He has just finished chemo and due to start immunotherapy soon but need other sufferers thoughts etc on the subject, thank you.
Hi Cribs, I started a year's immunotherapy after chemo and radiotherapy in May 2019. An infusion every 2 weeks for a year, and I finished just as lockdown started, April 2020. My tumour expressed 100% PD-L1, so it was almost tailor-made for me. It was very easy, I had a few skin problems, but nothing major and I really think that this medication saved my life. I was discharged from any more treatment or monitoring in July this year. Please feel free to ask more questions if you have them. Best wishes to your husband.
