4th infusion is next week.
Hair is completely gone , am managing other side effects with help of the specialist nurses . Always seems to be a solution to any problems I have experienced. But I am finding it so difficult watching my husband care for me. He looks so very tired.
Triciamaggie welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here. Well done for completing 3 infusions so far, it is good to hear you are managing the side effects, but I know how hard this treatment will be for you. Keep going, it sounds like you are doing well.
It is so hard when our loved ones become our carers as such. There is a change of role, from husband to career, and that can be hard on you both. If your husband is like mine though, he would never complain about looking after me, as he sees it as his role to look after me.
I have seen on another post that you are thinking of getting away on a little break. I think this would do you both good. You don’t have to go far, there are lots of options for holidays in the uk, just a change of scene can do us good.
Good luck with your next infusion. Let us know how you get on.
Thank you Chelle for your words of encouragement . Yes my husband too is of the opinion that should the roles have been reversed I would without question do my very best to take care of him . It's just frustrating to watch him work so hard.
Tricia.
