My husband has very recently been diagnosed with lung cancer, awaiting biopsy results for more info re type/treatment . Feeling lost
So sorry to hear that. Sometimes I think it is harder to deal with a partners diagnosis than your own. I was diagnosed last year and had a string of testsat different hospitals sometimes different ones on the same day. It was very difficult waiting to see what they would do. In the end thy removed the tip lobe of my right lung. I only smoked a short time 50 years ago too!
I was amazed I hardly felt any different afterwards, a bit sore for the first 12 weeks but I can carry on as nomal. Just now waiting for my 6 months scans and check up. There is a possibility that some nodules on my thyrotd described as unexciting may need addressing. We will see.
Take each day as it comes and find treats and ways of enjoying the good days. Stay strong.XXX
