Hi everyone,
My mum was diagnosed with lung cancer in June and was due to have a lobectomy but has now been told that the cancer is in a single lymph node in the area between her lungs. Her treatment plan has therefore changed to chemotherapy and immunotherapy and then surgery. I just wondered if anyone else has been through a similar treatment plan? And how it went.
Many thanks, from a worried daughter x
Hi Reb , mine was a right upper lobe lobectomy op in April and now have a lymph node in between both lungs. Started chemo and Immunotherapy 2 weeks ago. Diana
Thank you for your reply. I hope your treatment goes well x
Both, they have said that this course of treatment is to stop it spreading and giving him a better outcome, they have said they are aiming to cure him, he has a 3.8cm tumour in the lower lobe of his right lung and lymph node in the centre of his chest, he’s 50 with no other health conditions x
