Hi all.
It took me a while to do this but I hope to find some similar voices.
I’m Patrick. I currently live outside of England and just looking for some support and discussion about this in English. I was diagnosed with stage 3a non small cell lung cancer last November. I have had chemotherapy. Now I am in recovery from right upper lung lobectamy. After the operation I had some complications with pneumonia and thrombosis which led to a long spell on a ventilator in ICU. Now I’m out of hospital on parole . Working on recovery and regaining my strength with physical therapy. It seems like a long road ahead. I wonder about other peoples experiences with this and would love to hear them. I guess I am reaching out to hear from people that really understand or appreciate what I am going through.
Hi Patrick, welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here. I am sorry to hear you have had a rough time so far, hopefully now you are home you will be able to recover well. Take each day, one day at a time. If you have a bad day, let that go and focus on the next. You will get there. x
