My husband was diagnosed in June, PET scan in July showed it’s stage 4, total shock to us all
He has had three cycles of cisplatin and etoposide, two cycles included durvalumab. Due the etoposide failing three times the chemo and immunotherapy were separated. We are day 17 Durvalumnab and day 13 chemo.
This cycle he is totally floored by fatigue. We managed to get him out on Friday for a blood test. All ok apart from low iron. Waiting to hear re an iron transfusion. He is really low and confidence in walking has gone. He is 66.
Anyone else suffered like this?

I had cisplatin and vinorelbine several years ago, I didn't have immunotherapy such as durvalumab as this wasn't in use back then. I also had episodes of extreme fatigue where I could hardly move or stand up and stayed in bed or laid on the sofa all day. I was younger at 58.
If you haven't done so already I'd contact his chemo unit and ask them for advice, they may well be able to give him something to help or adjust his treatment to reduce side effects.
I do hope you can get something to help him.
