Hi
I had a brain tumour removed in early July, the neurological signs that led to that diagnosis revealed a 4cm Tumour in the bottom lobe of my right lung, so obviously I had to get the Head Gremlin removed or it would have been sayonara. Thanks to marvelous people at St Georges & The Marsden, I am now waiting for the Surgeons to agree to remove the Gremlin in my Lung..... I have been told it is a rarer form of tumour difficult to bash with chemotherapy... given it is small keep your toes crossed they will put me under the knife again.
I know no more than any one else how long I may have .... I am here to ask questions of professionals, to engage with others in my situation, as the situation is too difficult at times for nearest and dearest, sometimes I just need to be around some pragmatism as opposed to irrational hope.
All the best
Hi Sylvia
Goodness thats tough, thanks for the support I hope I will know more at the end of the week.... my feeling is the little blighter has to come out just need a surgeon to agree!
Take care (I am sure St Georges will!)
